Member of the Month

November 2009: Gita Deo

After speaking with Patricia, chair of the Multicultural Committee, the Executive Board feels that Gita has gone above and beyond this month, as a member of the Multicultural committee. Her punctuality at meetings and events, as well as her active participation and positive attitude have made her an asset to the Multicultural team. Gita's dependable nature coupled with her presence at the entirety of all committee events have made her stand out from the crowd. Her help in preparing for events such as "Make your own Sushi Night" and the upcoming "WWF" has been noted by the Multicultural chair, and we are all thankful for it! Gita, thanks for all of your hard work and we look forward to see what else you bring to McAC this year!

October 2009: Hannah Dwan

Congratulations to Hannah Dwan, BC 2011, who is our first McAC Member of the Month! After speaking with Bailey Griswold, chair of the Time-Out Committee, the Executive Board felt that Hannah went above and beyond this month in helping her committee prepare for a wonderful Big Sub! Her active participation in craft projects and decorating, not to mention completing all that pesky paperwork, working in collaboration with Dining Services, and doing it all with a smile on her face made her an asset to the Time-Out team! We are so happy that Hannah is a part of McAC and look forward to continue seeing her creativity and enthusiasm shine.
